Nashville Undefeated Football Mecca!!

So check it......i'm in Nashville. Things are going south as usual. We are out of gas and make CNN news, people are being layed off, we continue to vote republican when the majority of our legislature bleeds demorcratic blue. Low and behold the Tennessean, our local newspaper figures it would be great to be on top at something.

Nashville is finally great at something. Some good news to report.

Autumn has dawned with Nashville's pro and college football teams entering the weekend a combined 11-0. For those keeping score, the Titans are 3-0, Vanderbilt 4-0 and Tennessee State 4-0.

I'm just happy to read someting positive about my alma mater TSU.

Meanwhile, Nashville's across-the-board football success goes beyond mere wins and losses. The Titans sit atop the AFC South standings and lead Indianapolis and Jacksonville by two games.
On the college side, Vanderbilt is ranked No. 21 in the most recent Associated Press poll while TSU is ranked No. 23 in the Bowl Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA).
