Way To GO NASHVILLE

Thankfully Nashville has a little sense and voted AGAINST the English Only referendum.

Taken from the Tennessean: "The final was 32,144 for English only and 41,752 against — at about 19 percent, the largest turnout for a special election in a decade. Opponents were well ahead when early voting totals came out just after the polls closed at 7 p.m. and never trailed."

What I am distraught about is the cost of holding this special election. Tennessee is already over 1 billion in debt yet we had to spend $280,000 for this idioic attempt at segregation.

Thank goodness councilman Eric Crafton has given up on getting this bill passed. Hopefully he wont try to come in the back door and shift things around. Nashville is a melting pot of diversity and all of our residents make the city better not worse.

Way to go Nashville. Yet another showing of how important it is to vote and be counted.
