Today is going to be an awesome day. How do I know? Because I say so. Usually whenever I start my day on a positive spoken word it happens. So, we are looking forward to today minus a case of the "Mondays"!
I have not been to work in 2 weeks and have a lot of catch up work to do. Not that I missed work, but I am glad to be going back to work to finish up my assignments. I pray I'm doing my best work and it is satisfactory to my unit supervisor and the agency director. Working for the state is kind of flexible and it's hard to tell if you are really doing a good job or not and if your work is appreciated.
I have no idea why, but I'm glad Holly is back on my preferred news station Nashville Channel 4. The other lady did a great job but I was use to Holly and like her.
I have nixed the half marathon ambitions. After the 5 mile group run and the announcement that training was moving on to speed prep I realized that I was not ready and was not going to be ready to run 13 miles in less than 2 hours. There's a half in Murfreesboro in October. Maybe I'll have better luck training for that and then I'll be ready next April. *fingers crossed*
